This summer, we are excited to have senior physios Silvana and Jenn offering Advanced Handling workshops in both Vancouver and Toronto!
The goals of these workshops include:
- Exposure to the principles behind advanced handling such as CME or DMI
- Learn a few exercises and facilitation strategies to try with your clients
- Review ways to make the use of the CME/DMI equipment in your clinics
- The workshop does not aim to replace either CME or DMI courses and is opportunity to be introduced to the treatment styles or practice your skills
This workshops in intended for
- Physiotherapists who have not completed any CME/DMI training
- Physiotherapists who have taken level I of CME/DMI and would like additional support and practice
- This workshop is likely not valuable for therapists who have taken level II
IN-PERSON option
- Date: August 21st 9:30-11:30am
- Location: IN-PERSON at Cambie Kids Physio or Midtown Kids Physio
- Schedule: 1 hour theory/demonstrations by instruction, 1 hour hands on doll practice with feedback
- Cost: $50
