Gait: Clinical Observation and Orthotic Intervention with Kyra Kane
This course includes
This course focuses on knowledge, skills and evidence-based practices that can help yield more accurate and meaningful observation to support gait observation and intervention with ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs). It aims to assist clinicians in moving away from traditional trial-and-error-based orthotic approaches, to create client specific goals for AFO intervention, and evaluate their effects. A better understanding of gait and mechanics forms the foundation for increasing your knowledge and confidence with AFO prescription choices that are tailored to the individual client's needs.
This live online course will include pre-reading material and worksheet, lecture, and discussion in small and large groups.
NOTE: This course is only available to Kids Physio Group staff, if interested in the course please reach out to Carly Slater in order to receive the course identifier.
